But, however fearful, ineffective or wooden you feel when faced with such a scenario, we can help you turn this around. Quickly, permanently, powerfully. And, you may be surprised that, essentially, we won’t teach you anything new...

That’s because we operate from the viewpoint that, in their own environment, people have - or have had - moments when they felt utterly confident, at ease and able to handle just about anything that comes their way.

Our main task is to show you how - when the opportunity to create, enhance or defend your public image arises - you can tap into that “special something” that’s been so efficient in getting you where you are today.

After all, with the majority of our clients being leaders in their field, there’s certainly no doubt about the powers of their spoken communication. It’s just that, for a variety of reasons, they find it difficult to use these well-honed communication skills as convincingly in public, as they do in private.

In other words, unlike traditional textbook methods, we won’t show you how to “put on an act”. We won’t, for example, tell you to stop waving your hands if that’s what you normally do, or instruct you to talk in a different tone of voice. And as for “voice exercises”, we believe these should be reserved for The Opera House...


After all, your “unique selling point” is the fact that there’s no one else like you in the world. We want to capitalise on that, not stifle it.

With this in mind, we’ll challenge the standard lists of “do’s and don’ts” which suggest there’s only one ideal way to handle a media interview. In our experience, such classically trained interviewees are often beset by wooden performances, familiar phrasing and a lack of convincing connection with the public resulting in much viewer, listener and journalist irritation.

Instead, we realise that by just “being yourself” you’ll be in the most resourceful position to deal with any on-air scrutiny, whether questioning is hard, soft or indifferent.

Simple to say, harder to do? Sure. But, with your commitment to improve, we can stamp on the nerves, boost your confidence and, in turn, give you a greater chance of giving the right impression, saying the right things, at the right time.

Spotting one of our clients is difficult. Instead of the distinctive air of someone who’s been rigidly media-trained, the chances are that an individual who’s been coached by us will instead appear to be a “media natural”.

And, with an increasingly sophisticated viewing and listening public, we can’t think of a better compliment, nor a better approach to making the media work for you and not against you.
