Who's
"Faking It" for Channel 4?
11 July 2003
Channel 4 producers recently turned to Pozitiv founder,
Glenn Kinsey, for expert help in coaching the latest subject of
their award-winning Faking It documentary. Today saw the
individual put to the test in a live broadcast on GMTV's, Entertainment
Today where celebrity judges had to guess who
the "faker" was amongst four
TV presenters and reporters.
The documentary series is a transformational battle against the
odds. Individuals are plucked from their natural habitat and, with
the
help of expert tuition, given four weeks to master a skill
well enough to fool a group of expert
judges. Previous programmes have featured the likes of punk rocker
to classical conductor, solicitor to Garage MC and Navy officer
to drag queen!
Today's live broadcast showed each of the four presenters - one
of which hadn't even set foot in a TV studio four weeks ago - delivering
a live report to camera before conducting a celebrity interview
with pop duo, The Appletons.
The expert judges then had to decide who was the "fake" amongst
the pro's.
We don't want to spoil it by revealing the outcome but
all will be revealed when the programme is broadcast in the Autumn!
